Cruelty-Free Hygiene Products

Once you transition to a vegan lifestyle it might feel overwhelming once you realize how many of the things you uses in your daily life are not even vegan. Not mention they are probably full of chemicals, fillers, bad for the environment, and not cruelty-free. It has taken me quite awhile to find what hair and skin products work for me but are also cruelty-free and vegan too. Looking for products that are all natural, more eco friendly, and good quality are also very important when searching for the right brands. To make your life a bit easier I have made a list of all the products I use on daily basis and LOVE. Hopefully this will make your transition to a cruelty-free life easier. I also have a video where a show you each product and talk a little bit about it at the end of this post. I hope this is helpful to you!

Hair Care

I use the Coconut Milk Shampoo & Conditioner

I like the Raw Shea Butter Restorative Shampoo & Conditioner, its very moisterizing and smells really nice. Perfect if you don't like floral or fruity scents

I love the Argan & Moroccan Oil Shampoo & Conditioner (not all of there products are vegan so please the ingredients before purchasing!) All of their products are great! They have lots of styling creams, soothing oils, and body wash

This helps me with sooth my frizzy or dead ends. Helps my hair repair any damage from the sun or from swimming, sweating, etc

Skin Care

  • Basis

I love the Basis Cleanser. I use this every single day with a spin brush and it works miracles! 100% oil free, soap free and is super gentle. I also love their Cleansing Wipes. Perfect for removing makeup or throwing in a gym bag to wipe up any sweat. Very gentle and works super well

Treats blemished skin and helps clear up scars or dark marks

Very moisturizing and never leaves me feeling oily. Helps with dry skin to keep it nice a elastic. You only need the tiniest bit though!

The Tea Tree Face Mask is my favorite! I love the cooling sensation and it seems to clear up any blemishes + dark marks I have

I love the Intensive Blemish Serum! It prevents breakouts, rapidly clears blemishes, and treats acne scars & lightens dark spots

  • Witch Hazel

A natural astringent that helps me clean deep down in my pores. I usually use Witch Hazel after I wash my face, then I continue with my moisturizing routine

They have aromatherapy scents for all their soaps and body washes. I have the peppermint body wash and it is amazing! They are kind of hard to find but well worth it if you can!

Hygiene

We buy the hand soap for the bathrooms. There is a section in some bulk food stores with big jugs of Dr. Bronner's Hand Soap. You can buy it online, at a store, or in bulk

  • Nature Love Hand Soap

The one I like smells like Rose & Sandalwood. Suds up really well and moisturizes while you wash your hands

I love the Long Lasting, Unscented deodorant. It seems to work great and I have never had any bad reactions or dark marks because of it. I also use the Antiplaque & Whitening Toothpaste. Leave my mouth feeling clean and fresh without the harsh chemicals most toothpastes have

  • Schmidt's Natural Deodorant

I have recently tried the Rose + Vanilla Deodorant and I love it! Definitely recommend this brand. They have a TON of different scents and they all smell amazing. They also have fragrance free and soothing formulas

I have tried many of their products and I love them all! My favorite item is defiantly the body lotion. There are countless scents to chose from but my favorite is the Don't Be Bitter Baby scent. It smells like sweet grapefruits.

I love the Coconut Lip Balm but all the scents & flavors are amazing! Probably the best vegan lip balm on the market right now! So smooth and creamy and really moisturizes

This brand makes a ton of amazing products but by my favorite by far is the chap stick. My favorite one is the Coconut Lime but they have so many yummy flavors including Vanilla Chai which I also love

Bamboo toothbrushes are a great, more economical option for the standard plastic tooth brush. They are pretty inexpensive and easy to get. The best part is once your done using it, you can compost it! It's a win win

Vegan blogger with a message to share:

Veganism doesn't have to be hard, unappetizing, or unhealthy. I here to show people how to make delicious healthy recipes free of many allergens like gluten but with an extra healthy twist. Many of the recipes are completley grain-free, refined sugar-free, oil-free, and made with ingredients that are of course plant based and as close to the whole plant form as possible. There less processed it is, the better. I also write blog posts on living a vegan lifestyle. Veganism isn't just about not eat animals and their byproducts, but also not buying leather or buying cosmetic products from companies who test on animals. I am here to help people on their journey to a life free of cruelty but full of positivity and happiness. I share my vegan story, cruelty free skin care routine, makeup routines, eco-friendly household products, ethical fashion, yoga and meditation, zero waste essentials, how to throw a vegan party, pantry essentials, and so many more!
